Review Wise is a done-for-you review service for local businesses. We ask a business’s own past customers — by text and email — to leave a Google review. This page explains who we message, how consent is collected, and how to stop receiving messages.

About our messaging

Who receives messages

Only existing customers of the business we work for. Every business that hires us confirms in writing that the phone numbers and email addresses they give us belong to their own customers, who have done business with them and agreed to be contacted. We do not buy, rent, or scrape contact lists, and we do not allow our clients to send us lists obtained that way.

How consent is collected

Consent is collected by the business at the point of service — when a customer books an appointment, completes a purchase, or provides their contact details during normal business. The business is the sender of record. Review Wise sends on their behalf.

What the messages say

One short message asking the customer to leave a review, and at most two gentle follow-ups if there is no reply. Message frequency varies; typically 1–3 messages per customer, spaced at least two days apart. Messages are only sent between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

How to opt out

Privacy

We collect customer contact information only from the businesses we work for, and only to send review requests on their behalf. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with anyone. We do not use it for our own marketing. Contact data is stored securely, is used solely for the purpose described on this page, and is deleted when a business ends its service with us.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.

If you book a demo with us, that appointment is scheduled through Google Calendar and the details you enter are handled under Google’s privacy policy as well as this one. We use them only to hold the meeting.
